Creating a Picture Wall with Free Printables

Ok, I’m letting you all in on a secret of how I fill my picture walls! The easiest and cheapest thing to do is search “free printables” along with whatever type of picture, room you are trying to decorate {bathroom, kitchen, etc.} or color you are looking for on Pinterest. Then print them off and frame them! I would suggest using cardstock to print on to get the best color and quality. ¬†Obviously real¬†art is always better, but when you’ve got limited funds and want to spruce up a wall this is the way to do it!

Audrey’s Nursery

I’m happy to finally share a little bit of Audrey’s nursery with you all! With Claire I had her nursery set up and ready to go weeks, if not months before her arrival. Well, Audrey’s been in this world almost 4 weeks already and her room’s still not done.

Ombre Dresser {DIY}

There has been a lot of baby talk in our household lately. So instead of diving right in and decorating the nursery I decided to focus on Claire’s room for a while- since most of her stuff will go to Baby #2 it makes sense to start transitioning!

We were lucky enough to get all Claire’s new bedroom furniture from my parents, woo hoo! They just needed a little TLC. I let Claire pick out the colors for her room and these days her favorite color is orange, and we’re talking bright safety orange. As a duck fan, it’s hard for me to go all out orange. So instead of going full on with the furniture I decided to paint the dresser in different shades of orange in an ombre effect to soften the colors up a bit.
