Something Blue Bridal Shower {Free Printable}

This has been quite a busy couple weeks! I went to showers 2 last weekend {one of which I hosted and you can see here}. Yesterday I completed another half marathon with some of my bestest running buddies. And the day before that my mom, sister and I hosted my sister’s bridal shower. It’s safe to say I’m exhausted.

To be honest, I didn’t really have the “Something Blue” bridal shower theme formalized, but it kind of turned into that… so yeah, that’s what I’m calling it. 🙂

I used some of my fake calligraphy skills to write out these popcorn signs. The popcorn boxes are from Fancy That party store. I made this Caramel Corn Recipe…as always.

I printed pictures of the lovely couple. I bought the frames from Target and added the tulle to give it a little something extra. I printed out “Favorite Memory of the Bride” cards and “A Note to the Bride & Groom” cards {not pictured} from the DIY Network. We also played Bridal Bingo that I also got from the DIY Network and How Well Do you know the Bride I got from Personalized Brides.

My mom and sister were in charge of the food and drinks. Of course we can’t expect everything to go off without a hitch. I was in charge of bringing my large drink dispenser for the punch, but I forgot it. So my sister searched around my parent’s house but couldn’t find another one, so she went and bought one at Target. Just as the guests were starting to arrive I was moving the punch out to the table when {in good old “swimming sideways” fashion} it slipped from my hands and shattered everywhere…including all over our first guest {sorry, Grandma!!}. My sister had to call in back up and get my dad to buy another one. It was kind of a disaster. Other than that though, it went pretty well and everyone seemed to have a good time 🙂
