I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas! Our morning was perfect as you can see from the Instagram photo I posted yesterday.
Who am I kidding?! I have a 15 month old which means she could care less about the presents and the beautiful twinkling tree. All she really wanted on Christmas morning was a clean diaper and a warm bottle.
After she was a little more awake and she realized mom and dad were letting her rip paper, she was quite the happy little thing. By the end of the day she was an unwrapping/paper ripping fool. She loved it.
We spent the afternoon at my parent’s house with my family and our second family, the Burgesses. Since our family had 5 kids and they also had 5 kids it made sense for us big families to stick together and be friends. Apparently this was 30 years of Christmasses together. Unfortunately, we did not do our obligatory group photo so I don’t really have a good photo of all of us enjoying our time together.
Claire is the first grandchild of all of us 10 kids so naturally she was the entertainment for the night. One of her favorite gifts was a baby doll and stroller from my mom. She enjoyed pushing the baby around for a little while until she got jealous that the doll was having all the fun.
She was very proud of herself once she learned how to get in and out of the stroller all by herself.
Never a dull moment with this little gem!
