Clean Chocolate Bark {Recipe}

Today I am sharing one of my favorite clean recipes for chocolate. When I need a sweet treat I usually whip up a batch of these {or I go for these clean no-bake cookies I shared a couple weeks ago}. I love this one because it is gluten free, dairy free, nut free {unless you add nuts as a topping like I did}. You can also adjust the amount of honey based on how sweet you want your chocolate. Personally, I like to add only 1/2 cup of honey instead of the 3/4 cup the recipe calls for. One warning, since the base of these is coconut oil they melt VERY easily. I store them and eat them right out of the freezer!

2nd Birthday Party & Birthday Cake Recipe

My baby turns 2 tomorrow!! I can’t even believe it. We have been so busy this summer that I didn’t even plan a party. Last year I spent months preparing. My mom told me we had to do something, so we decided on a small family gathering at their house. No decorating, not much preparation, just showing up and enjoying family. That’s exactly the kind of party we needed this year.

Cake Pop {Recipe}

I have been wanting to try my hand at cake pop making ever since I first tried one at Starbucks. They seemed simple enough, right? I’m mean the recipe is literally only a few ingredients. I even did my homework and looked up tips on “fool proof” cake pops…and somehow they still turned out disastrous. Well, they taste amazing, they just look less than amazing….a lot less than amazing and I still felt the need to add the sprinkles. I went to the store and bought 4th of July sprinkles for goodness sake I’m going to use ’em.
